Excellent experience. The booking process was matched to my need and personal timetable. The service tech (Carlos) was a few minutes early. Asked for my input as he did an assessment. Narrowed down the possible causes, worked through and found the problem very quickly. Had the replacement part for the heater on the ice maker intake and completed the exchange and reassembled the interior of the refrigerator. I asked about the restart and he said it should restart on it’s own cycle but that if I had no ice in a day or two, I was to call him and he would check it out. The ice started about two hours later and the ice receptacle was full in a day and a half. We found full value for the service. This is the fourth time we had used Affordable over a fairly long period. Will always call them first and if asked, I give the name to others. Jim Dunn

SEAMLESS Experience!! We are new to AZ. Our Washer stopped working and we dreaded the idea of having to purchase a new washer. We selected - Affordable Appliance Repair and spoke with Courtney. Have been using Affordable Appliance for many years now. They have never steered us in the wrong direction. Have gone above and beyond in repairing an old fridge when we couldn’t afford a new one. Could have charged us for microwave repair, but advised a new one would be the best route.

CONCERN: Customer reports Oven is not working CAUSE: Found J-box damage CORRECTION: repair J-box. Operation normal
CONCERN: Customer reports washer water is leaking . CAUSE: Found washer water valve failed. CORRECTION: Replaced washer water valve and tested. Operation now normal. NOTE: After repairs were completed inspected for leaks, no leaks at time of completion
CONCERN: Customer reports microwave door issues . RECOMMEND: modified door push lever. Door opening correctly. Parts N/A.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator ice leaking CAUSE: Found ice stuck CORRECTION: removed ice and silicone outer dome and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not making ice. CAUSE: Found bad water supply heater tube. CORRECTION: install heater tube and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.

Voltage to junction box is normal. Tested voltage from the junction box to the main control board, voltage test normal. Tested voltage from the dishwasher main control board out to water valve and dishwasher float. Found no power going through the dishwasher main control board. CORRECTION: Replaced dishwasher main control board and tested, operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports freezer is not cooling CAUSE: Found bad defrost sensor CORRECTION: install defrost sensor and tested. Operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports Oven is not heating correctly CAUSE: Found calibrated off CORRECTION: calibrated oven and left a new thermostat.
CONCERN: Customer reports ice maker is not making ice. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected water supply lines for leaks, no leaks from supply lines at the time of inspection. Inspected freezer for proper temperature output, temperature output in freezer normal at the time of inspection. Inspected for proper voltage to the ice maker, voltage to ice maker is normal at the time of inspection. Found voltage to the Ice maker normal however ice maker will not call for water from the refrigerator water valve. Found the ice maker failed. CORRECTION: Replaced ice maker and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.

Inspected oven cord and terminal block for wear or electrical shorts. No signs of electrical short at power cord or oven terminal block. CONCERN: Customer reports oven is not working. DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected oven for proper wall outlet voltage to the oven, Output voltage normal at the time of inspection. Inspected voltage input at the main control board, input voltage to the main control board normal at the time of inspection. Found oven main control board failed. CORRECTION: Replaced and tested, operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator is not making ice . DIAGNOSTIC AND CAUSE: Inspected water supply line to refrigerator for leaks, no leaks found at this time. Inspected water valve for leaks, found water valve failure. CORRECTION: Replaced water valve and tested. Operation now normal. No leaks upon completion. CONCERN: Customer reports refrigerator. CAUSE: Found condenser coils clogged with debris. CORRECTION: Clean condenser coils and tested, operation now normal.
CONCERN: Customer reports washer need a new booth. CAUSE: Found washer tab support spring missing and shock absorbent come loose. CORRECTION: install support tab spring and shock absorbent and tested, operation now normal. No leaks upon completion.
CONCERN: Customer reports dishwasher is leaking CAUSE: Unable to duplicate customer concern at this time. Dishwasher is performing as designed at time of inspection. Recommend run a cleaner. Sad buildup.
